So many ideas; so many restrictions!

I'm in love with Weddings and Pinterest. Between those two - my mind is just overflowing with ideas. The reality of having nearly no money to create a fun wedding has hit me. I almost decided that PHOTOGRAPHY wasn't worth the investment. That crazy thought came and went very quickly.

I know at the end of the day; photos are what I will have to remember this beautiful time. Not the bubbles left on the table! ha.

To me - a great wedding is a meaningful ceremony, decent food, fun guest list and great music!

My extra ideas are as follows ::

  • Bistro String Lights in the Atrium
  • Handpainted Wine Bottles with Branches for Centerpieces
  • Framed Wedding Photos from Our Parents on the Card Table
  • Sparkler Entrance into Reception
But...these are my limits ::
  • I can ONLY have an insured person string lights [either pay someone over 600$ or...]
  • I need someone to set the tables for us [Im tempted to just do it after photos]
  • Sparklers are not allowed inside the Reception
Here are my solutions ::

  • Jimmy is a licensed electrician; which apparently counts. So, ill have to make him get up there the earliest they allow him!
  • I'll ask our "Planner" but if not; im not opposed to hiking up my dress and setting the room up with my ladies after photos
  • Sparkler Exit after Church

I refuse to stress out over small details. I refuse to skip out on important things to me. Overdone weddings look beautiful; but if you dont give yourself the time to take it all in --- whats the point?
